The Don Monti Division of Medical Oncology / Hematology at North Shore-LIJ Cancer Institute is an integral part of the 12 centers that make up the North Shore-LIJ Cancer Institute. Our full-time medical oncologists and hematologists are disease-focused and work as part of a multidisciplinary center of excellence within the Cancer Institute, collaborating with specialists in surgery, radiation oncology, pathology and diagnostic radiology, as well as supportive and palliative care, to provide the most appropriate and personalized cancer treatment plan. When it comes to cancer, we’re in this together. We are equally committed to research and education in support of our mission to continually improve the care and treatment outcomes for tomorrow’s patients. Our team of oncology investigators participates in pioneering studies that range from fundamental cellular investigations to the latest cutting-edge translational and clinical research. As educators, we train tomorrow’s generation of cancer care practitioners through our academic activities at the Hofstra North Shore-LIJ School of Medicine and our residency and fellowship training programs.
